My poor baby

Rayann had an accident yesterday. She jumped up fast and hit her ear on the edge of a table and this is the result. It was so traumatic. She was hysterically crying and I was so scared she did permanent damage. We went to the doctor immediately and she sent us to some specialists because she said it's possible her ear may have deformaty when it heals. The specialists say she is going to ok, but just gonna be sore FOR A LONG TIME. If it was any worse, then they were going to make an incision and let the blood drain to prevent "cauliflower ear." I didn't know what that was, but they say it's what happens when the skin is ripped of the cartilage and fills with blood. Today, however, she is getting over it, but still is rather under the weather.
